Within the January to July period, the top three performing coastal ports continue to be Shanghai with 25.39 million TEU, a year-on-year increase of 5.5 per cent. In second place was Ningbo-Zhoushan with 16.42 million TEU, up 6.1 per cent. In third place was the port of Shenzhen, where container volumes grew by

1.7 per cent to 14.68 million TEU.
